About the ReStore
The ReStore is a retail business selling new and gently used furniture, home decor items, appliances, kitchen cabinets, antiques, building supplies, and full kitchen cabinet sets. We operate two ReStores in our area – Guelph and Fergus. Our ReStores are proudly owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington.
Shop at the ReStore
The ReStore is an amazing place to shop! Every visit to the ReStore is different, and every purchase helps support our home-building projects in our community.
Please note: Proper social distancing and cleaning protocols are being followed in order to keep our community members safe. Under public health direction, masks are required to be worn inside our stores. We are not accepting cash as a form of payment at this time to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Donate to the ReStore
Moving or downsizing and have items you no longer need? Planning a renovation? Is it time to de-clutter and renew your space? Instead of tossing your unwanted household items, donate them to the Habitat ReStore and do something good for your community and the environment!
We gratefully accept donations of new and gently used household items that are clean and in working order. Check out a list of items we accept here. You can drop off your donation at the receiving doors at each of our ReStores during our posted receiving hours.
We also offer a free pick-up service to make donating to the ReStore easy! This service is recommended for large or multi-item donations. It is important that donations be easily accessible without the use of stairs (i.e. on the ground floor close to the front door, via elevator, at the front of the garage, or outdoors).

While optional, we ask that you consider making a monetary donation upon completion of your successful pick-up to help us cover the various costs involved in offering this free service.

Please note: Due to precautionary measures around COVID-19, please be aware that we are following proper health and safety measures during your Drop Off/Pick-Up/Kitchen Salvage visit, in order to keep our donors, shoppers, staff, and volunteers safe.
When you donate items to our ReStores, you’re helping Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington realize its mission to build decent affordable homes in the communities we serve. You’re also helping the environment by enabling the ReStore to recycle perfectly reusable household items and provide them with a second home, reducing your environmental footprint!
