A message from our CEO: Navigating COVID-19

Dear friends,
 
In this time of concern, I want to share how much Habitat for Humanity Wellington Dufferin Guelph values the well-being of the community of which we are a part. We are monitoring developments around COVID-19. We are taking an active role in ensuring that the health and safety of our customers, employees, and volunteers is our top priority. We also want to ensure the continuity of our operations.

Here’s what we’re doing:

  • Providing specialized health & safety training to all staff including protocols for frequent hand washing
  • Encouraging staff to stay home if they are not feeling well
  • Continuing to monitor the recommendations from the local health board and the World Health Organization (WHO)

We will continue to take all steps necessary to keep our community healthy.

It is a challenging time for us. We count on revenue from our ReStores, and donations from partners and individual supporters, to support local families in need of affordable housing. We welcome your special consideration at this time. habitatgw.ca/donate
