28 Days of Home
What does home really mean?
At Habitat for Humanity Wellington Dufferin Guelph, we know that a home is so much more than just four walls. A home is the foundation for a family’s future. It is a place of security and warmth. Being able to own your home brings strength and stability to individuals and families, promoting a greater connection with their city and directly impacting an individual or family’s social well-being.
That’s why we’re asking you – our community – to support our 28 Days of Home initiative by sharing what home means to you.
Here’s how to help:
- Let us know what home really means to you. Share your story on social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and/or LinkedIn). Don’t forget to tag Habitat for Humanity Wellington Dufferin Guelph and @HabitatWDG in your post!
- Challenge three friends to join you by tagging them in your post.
- Take it one step further and donate $28 to Habitat WDG. You can decide if your donation will go towards building Cityview Village in Guelph, or our upcoming builds in Orangeville. With your donation, we can build more safe and affordable housing, giving everyone the opportunity to experience the true meaning of home.
