what’s happening at cityview village:
The grass on our community area is growing, the pavement and parking spots are done, and so much work is going on inside on the finishing touches, including appliance installation, painting, trim work, and more. The finish line is in sight!
The kitchens are installed, flooring, bathrooms are going in. And the gardens are enjoying these sunny days!
Cityview Village Phase 3: Brickwork is complete. Insulation is done. Drywall is being taped. The rear decks are up. And we are gardening to keep up with the various plants on the property. It is busy!
During the last few months, we have been continuing to work on the build site, being careful to follow official directions from our government bodies and public health agencies. Although it was decided that volunteers would not participate on site during the pandemic for their health and the health of the community, they have been greatly missed.
The good news is, by this fall, there will be 8 more opportunities for affordable homeownership in our community! And for all of our generous donors who participated in the Fund-a-Need at November’s Ultimate Habitat House Party, we are so grateful that your generosity ensured we could purchase and install the windows last Fall. Thanks so much for your support!
