At Habitat for Humanity WDG, we believe that a better future starts right at home, but it doesn’t stop there. With each new project we undertake, we’re helping to provide a solid foundation for families to grow and engage in their community.

We’ve set significant growth targets in the expansion of our mission. Now, instead of building one home, we are building whole communities. We’re starting in Guelph with the development of Cityview Village, and are currently exploring properties in Dufferin County. From there, we will begin planning for a build in Mount Forest. Serving more families means greater fundraising, deeper partnerships, advancing ReStore revenues, and embarking on a new level of community connectedness. All areas of the organization are reaching new plateaus, and all members of our growing, dynamic and motivated team are dedicated to making Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live a reality.

Director, ReStores

This role has been restructured following strategic planning sessions of the Board and senior management team. The Director, ReStores is asked to lead a dynamic growth phase for the affiliate. Not only responsible for the overall business performance of our ReStore operations with priority responsibilities on maintaining profitability objectives through the acquisition, management, and merchandising of ReStore products, expansion and re-engineering of the business model are expected. The successful candidate will enhance the Habitat mission infusion within the ReStore environment. Junior/Intermediate Site Superintendent – Cityview Village

The Intermediate Site Superintendent is responsible for reviewing plans, specifications, and construction sheets, being the point of contact on-site for sub-trades and volunteer crew leads, ensuring Health and Safety on-site, and delivering a quality product to families. Public Relations, Communications & Marketing Specialist

The Public Relations, Communications & Marketing Specialist will guide communications, marketing and public relations messages to ensure Habitat WDG continues to be seen as a community leader in affordable housing.
