At Habitat for Humanity WDG, we believe that a better future starts right at home, but it doesn’t stop there. With each new project we undertake, we’re helping to provide a solid foundation for families to grow and engage in their community.

We’ve set significant growth targets in the expansion of our mission. Now, instead of building one home, we are building whole communities. We’re starting in Guelph with the development of Cityview Village, and are currently exploring properties in Dufferin County. From there, we will begin planning for a build in Mount Forest. Serving more families means greater fundraising, deeper partnerships, advancing ReStore revenues, and embarking on a new level of community connectedness. All areas of the organization are reaching new plateaus, and all members of our growing, dynamic and motivated team are dedicated to making Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live a reality.

Project Manager

The Project Manager will oversee all aspects, from pre-construction to completion, of our residential build developments. They will oversee all aspects of our construction program, including; effectively planning new developments on properties within Wellington and Dufferin Counties, management of project budgets, construction schedule, preparing and enforcing contracts and subcontracts, quality assurance and complying with residential building best practices and regulations.

Habitat for Humanity is a unique home builder in that we use both skilled tradespeople and volunteer labour on our build sites. The successful candidate must have excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and decision making skills. The Manager, ReStore Growth and Development is responsible for leading a positive, results-driven and customer focused culture in the ReStore. You are responsible for creating a positive and fun-filled, energized environment that reflects the overall values of Habitat for Humanity. You will drive operational excellence that leads to increased customer base and sales volume through optimized staff and volunteer performance and engagement, customer and donor satisfaction and engagement.  In this role, you will maximize opportunities to grow brand awareness through the community, and will identify expansion opportunities for all fronts of the operation.

The focus for this role begins in our Guelph ReStore.
