The Volunteer Skills Building Program is built around pathways that extend Habitat’s activities in the community – the ReStores, the Studio, the Build, and our Business Operations. Specifically, the program focuses on the individuals learning needs and providing meaningful opportunities to explore and develop new skills in a safe and supporting environment. Our seasoned, multi-talented team of staff and volunteers create a supporting environment by acting as “mentors” to our program volunteers by empowering them to believe in their capabilities, gain confidence, and build self-esteem.
We have partnered with local schools and social service organizations across Wellington Dufferin Guelph to identify individuals who will benefit and grow under this program.
