According to Dealer/Owner, Andre Belisle, “Habitat has some very ambitious goals for the next five years and we hope our support will help to see them materialize”. And that’s exactly what Habitat for Humanity WDG needs within the community we serve. “In the next five years, Habitat will build over 25 homes and raise $2 million”, says Steve Howard, Executive Director, “with strong corporate leaders within our community, like JL’s Home Hardware, we have no doubt that we will achieve our goal”.
JL’s Home Hardware is a family run business celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. It has grown to 4 JL’s branded stores in the Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo area. It serves commercial accounts, renovators, home builders, and homeowners with a wide range of household and building material products and services.
“JL’s Home Hardware finds there are some strong synergies between Habitat and us that when we team up will make us all stronger and allows us to use our strengths to play a more meaningful roll within the community”, says Jean-Louis Belisle, owner of the progressive and successful Home Hardware franchise.
Not to mention the campaign partnership financial commitment, JL’s Home Hardware is also active in supporting Habitat’s latest build on York Road as well as donates to the ReStores regularly. “We couldn’t ask for more from a loyal partner like JL’s”, says Sharron Riley-Persson of Habitat, “we are grateful for their kindness”.
With the recent opening of JL’s new location in Guelph, they hope to strengthen their position in Guelph and by offering a modern shopping experience of building materials and home renovation product taking advantage of a more centralized location in the city. Their new 30,000sqft location on Wellington Street West just off the Hanlon provides customers with easy access to convenient shopping with the best service. JL’s hope is to grow their professional contractor business with recent improvements in their lumber and building materials department including a dedicated service counter.
