Location: Habitat for Humanity Wellington Dufferin Guelph, 300-104 Dawson Road, Guelph, ON but travels within Guelph, Wellington and Dufferin Counties

Habitat for Humanity Wellington Dufferin Guelph (WDG) is one of 56 Affiliates that comprise Habitat for Humanity Canada. The ReStore is a social enterprise with a goal to provide customers with quality new and used building materials, home furnishings, appliances, and other similar items, in order to generate sufficient net revenue to fund the operational costs of the affiliates. The ReStores in our catchment area are located in Guelph, Orangeville and Mount Forest.
The Product Planning and Development Specialist is an integral part of our community outreach initiative. The primary responsibility of this role is to strategically identify product needs to support ReStore sales targets, implement strategies to access and grow a sustainable donation stream, actively solicit and secure donations, and steward ongoing relationships with the support of the Stewardship and Engagement Specialist. The Product Planning and Development Specialist works largely in an “outside sales” capacity by directly contacting potential corporate donors, the public, construction professionals and others.

The Logistics Manager has supervisory responsibilities over staff and volunteers including drivers, schedules, and salvage crew and as such leads by example to create a positive and fun-filled, energized environment. This role is responsible for operational excellence of our product distribution network including optimizing staff and volunteer performance and engagement, increasing product donation pick-ups and salvage projects, organizing pick-ups, ensuring donor satisfaction and engagement, and identifying opportunities to grow brand awareness through the community in order to support ReStores in exceeding sales targets.

Habitat for Humanity Wellington Dufferin Guelph is seeking an energetic individual who thrives on job enrichment gained from a multi-faceted ReStore operations role. The ReStore Associate is a team player and is ready to do whatever is necessary to help us achieve our mission including: provide customers and donors with an incredible experience that keeps them coming back, maximize revenue through ReStore sales and salvage/recycling programs, oversee the operation of the shipping and receiving area, e-waste and recycling programs, product display and merchandising, and customer service, and coach and develop volunteers in a positive and supportive environment. This role may also help on our trucks to pick-up and unload donated building materials and furniture. This opportunity requires strong customer service, teamwork, flexibility, adaptability, and communication skills.
